College Wrestler Charged For Providing His Teammates Alcohol

Penn State wrestler , Bryan Pearsall, was charged for furnishing alcohol to his teammates, who were minors. The minors were charged with underage drinking, often known as an MIP. All four involved are wrestlers who were listed on Penn State's wrestling roster. Bryan waived his right to a preliminary hearing.

According to the state police's Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, an officer saw Bryan take money from his minor friends and then purchase two cases of beer from Beer Belly's. Allegedly, his friends were then later observed consuming the alcohol.

To the wrestlers' credit, apparently there was no drinking and driving involved.

Comments

I thought wrestlers wanted to lose weight. Last time I checked, alcohol make you gain weight.
